When I first saw someone performing silks- rigged from a giant balloon floating above the crowd at an outdoor festival- I felt a deep desire to learn this art.  Shortly after I began taking silks classes, and found it to be potent medicine for me, igniting my spirit, supporting deeper embodiment and creating a sense of liberation in my expression.  It was a way to continually explore fears and blocks that limited me, helping build courage and resilience and creating a channel for creativity and playfulness.  It is a way to access flow state, allowing movement from the head into the body- initiating deeper presence and awareness, as well as a natural sense of confidence and connection.

I’m interested in experiences of transformation and liberation.  I enjoy creating a space where we feel safe to explore the art of expression, remembering our sense of playfulness, creativity, curiosity and sensuality.  Through expression and movement we can liberate ourselves and remember our sacred wildness.
